the voting system (again)
right,
currently there are 2 ways of voting right?
the "vote" option on the database entry main screen and the one on the sidebar.
now the sidebar i assume is a "quick vote" option? however when you use it, it does precisely the same as a "slow vote" and takes you to the vote stats screen.
my point/question is this:
wouldnt it be much more useful if the "fast" vote simply updated the votes on the entry without forcing you to view the stats? on the assumption that if you wanted to view the stats you would vote the "slow" way.
is there a technical issue with doing this? can the vote update calculation only be called from the stats page?
this all comes from voting on alot on entries recently and seemingly spending alot of time clicking the "back" button and waiting for csdb to display me a screen which can be a bit slow due to bandwidth usage.

I've been suggesting precisely this a number of times already, without any response really, so I don't know how likely it would be to see any changes... Anyway, perhaps it is worth raising the issue again, in case more people speak up this time. :) |

Certainly a great suggestion, considering the website can be rather sluggish at times.
