changing handle but wanting to keep the old one as well

Hi!

What is the right way to change my scene name (and group) in a way that my old releases still display the old name, and my new releases (in the new group) will display the new name?

Should I create a new CSDb handle entry with my new name? In this case can my CSDb login name point to multiple CSDb handle entries?

Currently I can search for another handle on my userpage's CSDb Settings page, but it is unclear what happens if I press the OK button. Will it add this another CSDb handle entry, or will it replace the old one, because a user can have only one handle entry associated?

Do not add a new handle entry. Go to your entry that you have now, and click the update button below all your info, at the left bottom of your screen. Then there is a "Add new handle" option. Use that one, and choose which one is the current one.That way both your handles are connected and you can choose which handle to point to later on. But start there.

The handle can have a time period, so any release made during the "previous handle period" will still be associated with that handle.
