suggestion: user online list
if sum users are online and you click on the name you
will lead to the search_screen...where maybe you want
find the online scener.
list leads to:
http://noname.c64.org/csdb/search/?content=sceners&search=Oswald
sreach point to:
http://noname.c64.org/csdb/scener/?id=798
why not include the ID into the onlineusers-link-list?

We can't do that because the we don't know the ID for each of the users of CSDb. And you might consider that a user of CSDb don't have to be a scener, and therefor don't have an entry in CSDb to link to.
However all users of CSDb can go to their userpage ( http://noname.c64.org/csdb/userpage/ - or click the userpage-tab at the top of the screen) and find the exact entry for yourself. If this is done a direct link from the Users Online to the entry will be made automaticly.
Just like my handle left to this post is blue. It's a direct link to my entry in CSDb because I set my ID on the userpage.

and now? why not just use this amazing "makeMyHandleBlueIfIHaveAUserpage"-routine also
for the onlineList?

Erm, this is already done, but I guess most people don't know of that rather new feature. You have to assign a scener id# to yourself, then it will work.
Go to the userpage, update settings. |
