No working c64 anymore
Hi,
I don't have a working c64 anymore and would like to know if there is a good emulator and what you guys would recommend i found several on the net but which one is the best?

i recommend vice64 (http://viceteam.bei.t-online.de/) and ccs64 (http://www.ccs64.com/).
both are very good, some games/demos run better on the one emulator, other games and demos on the other one. |

if you want to do something serious i recommend vice because of it's windowed mode capability, else it's just a matter of taste. |

I use both CCS and VICE - Vice is quicker because of it's window mode, CCS is more accurate in it's emulation. |

If you're like me, and have a Macintrash instead of a PC, there is also Power64 (http://www.infinite-loop.at/), which handles the emulation very, very well and is extremely quick and accurate (haven't found anything that won't run on it yet).

I could use a crack for the latest Macintosh Power64 emulator so if u have one...
