Group status of a scener in credits?
How do I change the group status of a scener, in the credits of a release?
A current example, Legends
In the credits for charset I want to change the group status of Bob to be Triad instead of Agile. |

Well.. You can't. :(
We newer really considered this problem when designing CSDb in the first place, but later we made a small 'hack' so that if the scener has ever been member of the group releasing this release he would be displayed as member of that group. In this case Agile.
I long though about making it so that it would check the dates of memberships and the release date instead and from that info figure out which groups to write.
This has newer been code however. :/ (But might be soon?)
Even though other ppl have sugested that one should be able to edit the groups displayed in the credits I don't think it's a good idea.
As I see it this would only lead to redundance (spelling?) in the database which is not a good thing.
Any thoughts?

Automatic checking of the dates would do very well since most of the time that is correct, if not always?
If no dates are set the current 'hack' could be applied. This will force people to fill in join/leave dates.. :) |
