yo man, why you searching for these lamer crews for? :) BlackBeltJones/TIDE knows Vortex/PDC, but Vortex isn't active anymore but he still burns EPROMS for those who need them. If you come across Gaxar or Kitana it would be cool if you passed them onto me also. Btw, Virus was only alive for about a month or so before it turned back into Tide.

BBJ/Tide? News to me. I know Kitana had email access but I can't remember his addy :( He was planning on xferring all his C64 stuff released and unreleased to PC so he could upload it or something. Tomz is alive and well. I'm sure he was around in Virus. Check modern diskmags like The Beergarden for his address or maybe it's in this database.

Thanx for the Replies Guys

I used to be in all 3 of these groups back in the days and it slipped my mind that virus went back to tide

silly me =+)

As for being lame we all have our opinions of who is lame and who is not

Without the lamers the good groups dont look good now do they

Im going do some checks on ICQ maybe i could track down a few guys

I knew very little of vortex i used to trade stuff with another guy from the PDC and cant remember his name

Stay cool everyone and have phun

I just found this site today while searching for some of my old demos.. I must say some of the info gathered is great.

AFAIK none of the other members of Battery are still active in the scene in any way & i'm just here for nostalgic purposes. lol

Pete (Solar of Battery) from many moons ago.

DJ Rave ehh? I can only hope that this is a second coming after your gay little gazundas experiment on me.. If you were hiding half a brain in that obscure head of yours i wouldn't be making fun of my old crew, well because other members of my old crew do read this database and they are not half as nice as i..

It appears that I have been causing a lot of trouble here. I'm in need for a drink of water to calm my nerves done. I've done even more damage than I done before. Especially to Fade. I think after the worst thing (The TND intro with a shit on it) the damage's worse. Sorry Fade, I have a terrible hangover!

Right. I'm off and forget what I said. It is time for a new-improved me. Richard V2.0 :)

Hey, I should be your fave poet ..

"My impulse is to dream, have a true-color fantasy
a texture of paradise, rendered into pure lies"

"So here you go again, casting that gouraud shade
on the love we used to have, thus morphing it, into hate|

"glass clouds breaking apart, you're vectorising my heart
scroll your love to me, why won't you scroll your love to me"

Dropping them lyrics demo style boyo!

i use star commander (sta.c64.org), it's in dos but it's as close to a gui as you'll get? I'm told there is a max cpu usage for using the cable, i'm running a p233 for it, using turbo mode it'll cross a disk in about a minute.

that's correct, i don't know the exact specs but my X1541 stopped working on the p2 and above. After that the XE1541 (the one with diodes) worked

Slarti, myself and some more are making an AUSSIE/NZ webpage/archive. Should be fun to get everything online from our little scene.

Great to see a few aussie sceners around this year seemingly, hopefully we'll get a few more back into it with the development of the ANZACS site ;)
