A new scener has born! :-)

I just heard the news:

TiM/Silicon Ltd. has become a father at 15.17 (Amsterdam time ;-) of a son called Tobias.
Mother and son are in good health.

That's what I call a *fine* first release :)

CONGRATULATIONS TIM!!

Is his new son already a Silicon Limited member??
Then we would have the youngest scener ever! ;-)

You dutchmen speak a truly weird language, but all the same: congratulations to Tim with his firstborn :)

I personally released a female of the species some five years ago, and can wholeheartedly recommend the experience ;)

Good luck!

Man, I so much hope you mean 'supplied' instead of 'released' ..

TDJ: Hehehe... Yes, you are right, I just helped develop her, someone else took care of the actual releasing ;) Still, she was the most beautiful piece of software I'd ever seen at the time ;)

dalezy, you seem to be unaware of the tradition that when
someone related to the scene has become a father the news
must be posted on forums or mailinglists along with "jokes"
based on the following phrases:
'new scener', 'new member','a new release'
and everyone responds with lines such as 'was it a first release?', 'has he/she already joined xyz?', 'he/she must be the youngest scener ever'

after a while everything goes quiet, until the next
scene-related birth when all the comments are repeated
to everyones joy
