CSDb Compos invented by...

Hello there,

Is this correct that the CSDb compos was invented by Kristian Røstøen, OMP / Ole Marius Pettersen with the 'High-score Power Ballad Competition 2012'?
I can not remember a CSDb compo this way before? Or, I'm totaly wrong?

High-score Power Ballad Competition 2012

@Kristian Røstøen, OMP / Ole Marius Pettersen: Where is the 'High-score Power Ballad Competition 2013'? It is still time! :-)

Rambo Revisited was first CSDB compo where people uploaded entries directly to the compo page here at CSDB and it also blew out of expected proportions (which is probably a standard feature of CSDB compos ;). The results weren't ranked based on CSDB votes though (and were delayed ad absurdum, coz organizer sucked big time.. and still does)

All you need to cover Axel-F theme right is to hit the right rythm.. unlike Moog with his Beverly_Hills_Cop, which has (apart from the totally forked up rythm in the main melody (begining)) very solid sound set. I wonder if Moog still thinks he nailed it right ..

Btw. if there are any musicians reading this. Please check first 7 seconds. The part that bugs me is around 5... what do you say?

I remember wanting to start an airwolf.sid compo, where the 2 rules were; the name should be airwolf.sid and it should sound nothing like the airwolf tune at all... That never happened btw... Before that we did do the "Sit in my underwear, drinking Pepsi" compo.. That just had to be the name of the sid, no other rules. Some nice tunes btw, check hvsc for that name and listen to them if you never heared those
