Pocket PC C64 Emulator
Hi folks, just bought a pocket pc and i was remembering if any of you guys have used a c64 emulator on one and if so which was the best. I know theres other devices out there like the GP32 etc to run c64 emulators just incase u thought i bought it just to run c64 stuff, thats not the case... thx Oh ya... HAPPY NEW YEAR too...

while surfing the internet i found some emulators for my nokia 6600. still love frodo64. but isn't it not much slower on a pocketpc?

Thx scout, i'll look at them later as girl is trailing me out now to do more shopping in the sales :o( I'll also have a look at cracking the extra features and if i get anywhere with it i'll pm ya... ok

The only decent C64 emulator for the Pocket PC that I know of is Pocket C64 by Clickgamer.
The second version is much faster, and ok for games (although many of the 'special effects' in demo's don't look right.)

Do this one also work under Symbian OS ??? I got the P800 and the Frodo64 don´t work right on this one :(

As far as I am aware, Pocket C64 is only available for the Pocket PC. There are two c64 emulators for the Symbian series of phones (frodo & comeback64) both of these are somewhat limiting compared to the clickgamer emulator.
The full (cracked) version of PocketC64 V2 can be downloaded from IRC somewhere. The warez channel has disappeared unfortunately, search around.

Scout hope u got the email ok. Also theres no need to look about algorithm I have the lastest version of pocket commodore 64 and serial, was gonna email u it but i couldnt find an email address 4 u.. pm and i'll email it....

It's a bit quiet at the office so I have some spare time to fiddle around with it.
I loaded up Deus Ex Machina (which is a nice benchmark demo for emulators, imho) and PocketCommodore 64 really fucks things up.
Cycle exact, my ass!
In short, PCommodore64 is quite useless for watching demo's but it's nice if your want to play Fort Apocalypse :)
I also just found out that there is a Pocket PC version of Frodo (http://www.nibbleandbit.net/PocketHobbit/). Going to test that one too.
