Was Herbot Bos active on the C64?
At the moment I try to understand the topics of "Practical Binary Analysis" by Dennis Andriessen. The author of the foreword, Herbert Bos, mentioned he started with cracking games on the 6510. Does anyone know if he was active on our beloved breadbox? |

In the podcast on
https://www.bnr.nl/nieuws/tech/10327887/goede-software-blijkt-v..
at 9:37 the interviewer asks him if it is true that he started on the C64. He answers, among other things, that he and his friends tried to "hack" games, because they had not enough money. They would not sell them, but would add hidden messages for the pretty girls in their class. Unfortunately, the girls never saw those, because they did not play these games at all. |

Thanks for your replies! And Goat, you're right. A bit more googling would have brought my lazy ass some results... Thanks Rastah for your summary and translation! I wondered if his cracks somehow ended up here, if he had a handle and if he was an active scener somewhen. |
