The Mibri C64 Demoshow
Hello everyone,
I thought I should start a thread here so I can post details whenever I'm planning to do a Twitch stream of C64 demos played on real hardware. We had a great time during the one I hosted last week!
I will be doing another one tomorrow (Tuesday 14 April) night at 1930 UK time (2030 CEST), playing a few releases from Revision 2020 alongside lots of other great C64 demos, intros, etc.
Find me at https://www.twitch.tv/mibric64/ - cheers! |

Ah, thanks Case! I forgot that Twitch doesn’t do that automatically (strange that they don’t..). |

Thanks again, Mibri!
Between some network issues at my end, the timezone difference, and me being a bit jetlagged from starting a new job this week, my presence was quite intermittent, but I very much enjoyed your commentary for the parts I caught. |

Hey, thanks a lot to all who joined us last night or watched the recording!
One thing I'll keep an eye on in future: I had had a few drinks so kind of lost control over the audio level when I played a couple of tunes at the end - my monitoring wasn't clipping, but what Twitch received was getting pretty crunchy. My mic could probably have been a bit less hot too. More drinks = more blah blah. I won't be so eager to try and get up close to 0 next time! :D |

Great show! Watched it after the event. Awesome stuff. Shame the Twitch chat wasn’t pairing to the video - it means that once the video disappears from Twitch, the chat has gone forever :-(
Brilliant show though and I hope we can return to regular monthly programming soon ;-) .. maybe at 2:30pm, though, so that the many, many, many of us over here in Asia can watch live too :-) |

Quoting RaistlinShame the Twitch chat wasn’t pairing to the video - it means that once the video disappears from Twitch, the chat has gone forever :-( Chat seems to be preserved just fine. =)
Edit: Ah, you mean another capture. Nvm. |

Yeah, I think Twitch doesn’t retain past content for very long… so once it’s gone it’s gone..? |

Yeah and maybe that's alright as it is, I really appreciate ppl youtube-ing Party Streams (and thus kinda archiving the parties), but I don't think the Twitch chats need to be archived forever, though it's fun to be able to re-read what you wrote that night - which was possible at BCC#17 for about a week or two, then Twitch seems to dump it |
