Discord or IRC channel?
Is there a place on discord or IRC I can join to talk with fellow c64 sceners? I love chatting about ANYTHING C64 related and I'm really interested in chatting about the odd releases I find as I archive old scene disks here and maybe coordinating with the transfer team and other uploaders as we plow through all these archives.

Come to #c-64, we're mostly lovely :)
There have been some discussions about SCP to G64 conversions of late too.
Main caveat is the channel devolves into non-c64 content about 70% of the time. That said, the main 'offenders' do go quiet the moment any technical discussions start. |

IRC has certainly changed from "back in the day". I used to frequent efnet and moderate (the good old days of eggdrop and being an Op) on #chat. The activity was pretty much non stop. So yes, different. I did get disconnected a few times when trying to introduce myself and start a conversation. I will give it another go. |
