RIP Karoshier / Da Capo
Earlier today Karoshier of Da Capo passed away (Karoshier)
While not the most active C64 scener out there he is mostly remembered for his Burnin' Pen 64 release which won a Meteoriks award back in 2014 and attended multiple Evoke, Revision, Buenzli and UnTum parties in Germany.
Karoshier was mostly known as a hardware hacker and I have worked together with him on many arcade projects next to demoscene stuff.
Any messages to family can be sent to me. I can pass them on to this wife Sampaguita who has released a few C64 graphics herself. |

Karoshier was my real life colleague for many years, and it was good to have a c64 scener nearby who would sometimes invite me to play the arcade. We came along quite well, and I'd usually visit him in his office for a little chat every day, and i would always manage to make him laugh. My condolences to his wife and all the friends he had made on his international journey. He will be remembered. |

Oh man, that is sad news. Had many chats at several partys with him, also at X, and was exchanging ideas with him, as well as providing endgfx for his game. I know he suffered from cancer before but defeated it so far :-( |

Oh I only just saw this :( He's been such a kind guy and I remember him and his wife showing up at Buenzli and we had a good chat at many other parties too. Condolences to his family and rest in peace, Karoshier! |
