The Silents
Did the The Silents organize two copy-parties?
One in April 1988, the other in the end of 1987?
Anybody knows?

Not true, there was THE SILENTS HACKER-PARTY from October 28th til November 1st, 1987 in Alvesta.
Two demos released there are: 1 Mhz / Tetragon and No Sleep II / Xakk

...also known as the Alvesta Lamer Fest.
Lots of more demos were released there. Two of my favourites (for various reasons...) were "Guest Talk" by Triad and "It's Movin'" by Super Swap Sweden.

Rough: The silents organized two parties in Alvesta. The first one October the 29th, 1987 and the second one on April the 7th, 1988. source: http://c64.org/xakk/Story.htm
Twoflower: I guess "the Alvesta Lamer Fest" must have been the 1988 one.. if you are refering to "Guest Talk"..
if you check http://www.contactor.se/~kjer/horizon/ and search for Alvesta you see that HZ visited a party in Alvesta in november 1988 too.. that makes it 3 different parties or they just go the dates wrong..
For the one that wonders, Alvesta is a swedish town.
I'm on a lunch break right now. so I cant check the productions for real dates..

I knew about Alvesta being a town, but isnt there another 'thing' called Alvesta? Something back in my head tells me so. |
