Some of my own C64 stuff ... someone interested?
I finally transfered some of my C64 stuff to PC, which may interest someone. There are 2 games and some tools I made for myself (they were (and are) very useful to me):
1. Domine - dominoes based upon a quiz part I watched on local TV. Includes point and click system for placing dominoes; (mainly asm, with compiled basic control code)
2. Minesweep - minesweep game with customizable field size (23x23 - 100x100) and mine percentage (10-30%), and with a nice zoom field (useful when playing 2-3m away from TV); on emulators may have stupid mine-arrangement bacause it uses SID for generating random numbers (it's dependent on how SID emulation is done, mainly noise part); on a real C64 works perfectly and fast :) (100% asm game).
3. Screen editor V2 - 40x25 screen editor which uses standard C64 charset, with built-in 80x50 mode functions (plot, line, circle, etc.) and a lot of options available form menu (compiled basic with a lot of asm subroutines)
4. ZSeq 1.0 - my SEQ file reader (I didn't had any decent SEQ reader, so I made my own), which includes many loading options, ASCII conversion, find/find next and a lot more (100% asm code)
5. Test joy - guess what this does? (uses 10 80x25 mode pics to show joy position). Nice, short and useful when stupid thing gets out-of-work (100% asm code)
6. Menu loader - autostart menu loader (fastload 1541 routine taken from some fastload by I don't know who), my tool which I use A LOT (100% asm code)
7. Program compactor - a program for putting up to 8 programs in one file. I mainly used this for putting more tools on tracks 36-40 with Disk expander 1.02.
If anyone is interested on putting these somwhere, let me know. |

Hmmm, I knew I forgot something ... for requests, my e-mail is zzarko@uns.ns.ac.yu. It would be nice if someone put this on a web page or something (I do not have my own, and with my schedule, it won't be soon ...)

Just done that :)
I will upload your work on to my web site later on this week. The scene definitely will be looking forward to your two games :) Domine is cool :) I wont intro-link any of your work with the TND intro, because TND's not meant to be a cracking group, plus it takes up disk space :D Just my freeware label :) |
