Working c64c keyboard for sale?

Hi! ..

Does anyone ( in sweden ) have a working c64c keybord for sale ?

I bought 2 c64c and one of them seems to have a faulty keyboard ( robbed another of my c64's of it's keyboard and it worked ).

itch... scratchy ...

lol - I think I have a spare F7 key + spring someplace.. so if nothing else is broken (?), I'll go look for it ;-)

Quote: try taking the keyboard apart and cleaning it. Clean all those little contact surfaces on the back-side of the keys good with isopropanol/isopropylalkohol/alcohol isopropylicus ...is there an english nickname for that stuff btw?

yes, its called 'isopropyl alcohol'

:)

Forget the keyboard! Vodka works pretty well on its own :)

@ popmilo: not true, because the more vodka you use, the worse the typing gets ;-)

Everything done to keep the real c64's alive are good work, i think :) there are quite many "alive" but in 5-10 or even 15 years i think it will be hard to find fully working c64's :( ..

At that time we this will help us in resurrecting our c64s: Commodore 64 troubleshooting and repair guide

I also heard there's a similar guide for c128.

Here is my replacement of an old C64 kayboard into a new C64C:

Looks a bit strange but works great. Besides the job is ver easy since there are no parts to modify (cut, adjust,..)

Ready.
