Reviews ripped from magazines
I added some reviews for demos which were ripped from magazines.
My question is, shall I continue with this, or just forget it (in case it's unnecessary)?
If the answer is positive, I'll share my experiences about converting texts from c64 magazines to standard ASCII (or just contact me about it)...

Some people like it, some less, but let me share my ideas anyway.
First of all, the whole text-ripping seems to me quite annoying, especially when I have to deal with proportional fonts in the c64 mag and f. e. the spaces are replaced by some other characters (ripping texts properly from NewsPress seems to me nearly impossible as the shifted chars are replaced to weird stuff - so when I try to convert the CBM text to ASCII, the results are everything but usable). However, if only a few characters are replaced (like the font from The Pulse), a "Replace" function from any texteditor could be very handy.
Step by step:
1. save the text
2. convert it to PC (I use 64COPY by Peter Schepers - you can find it on www.fairlight.to)
3. correction, breaking lines (CSDb, opposite to the c64.sk forum, has a br feature on his own by recognizing them - but when I want to use up the text in my own html code, and it has a lot of linebreaks, a small php script helps a lot). About replacing characters, look above (I use my HTML editor for replacing, but I guess Word should have such a feature too).
However, this review thing could be also solved by pointing to the magazine, but not everyone has a c64 or an emulator at hand (I often surf at my pal's place on a very lousy 486 that can't run the emu properly) - this seems to be the best way to show those few lines.
