even when ignoring his behaviour (which might or might not be debatable) he messed up the database with crap, sometimes very deliberately and with the obvious goal to be annoying (like when he posted the useless info from scenery).

and anyway, be annoying, get warned, be annoying again, get kicked. thats already much more than you could expect on any bbs.

I don't really know why as I'm not a hotheaded person, but for some reason he freaked me out horrendously with his constant infantile remarks. And people unsuccessfully trying to explain him how stupid he is, freaked me out even more.
So hallelujah! I won't miss him, that's for sure.

Please correct me, but CSDB in my eyes has always been about preserving history, not to be seen as some BBS where you have to behave to the opinion of a few people or group when posting.

Baracuda might be annoying to you personally and obviously to a few other people hanging around on this forum.. so what? I can supply you with several names of annoying people including myself!

The guy obviously (just go through all his messages) is fixed on details and correcting and preserving what HE finds important of the scene through his eyes.
Even though it might not be my or your view on the scene, hes just another passionate scener initially wanting to update the quality and correctness here.

I can only find one major thing Id call a big issue, obviously posting of peoples names (which he considered as completing missing info on csdb) was stupid. So then what? You guys gave him heat for that and that was dealt with fair enough.

I certainly can not call several responses fair and just from some of the complaining people on this forum about him and he dealt with it on the forum in response.
Correct me if I am wrong again.. please Id love to get a reaction as to why he now is kicked and others who broke a handful of rules are not or not even warned or flamed publicly too?

Last but certainly not least..
I damn well agree to quite a lot of things he had to say in the forums, some of those being reflections of other peoples opinions or actions.
To my opinion I find it an offense that you are kicking out someone that has been a c64 scener for a shitload of years for the sole reason of him pissing of some people with a different opinion about the scene!

You have kicked a longtime c64 scener out of CSDB!
To me CSDB is a large part of the C64 scene in 2007,
I damn well want a better explanation from you or one of the other mods than your one-liner and I damn well think I deserve it.

Baracuda was removed since all Moderators found him trolling, playing up the database, adding false infos, pissing ppl off, causing the mods alot of extra work, removing releases, taking the rights on entries he had nothing to do with, caused ppl to leave Csdb.

Nothing more to say. PM me or any Moderator if anything else.
Im closing this thread.
