I love CSDb!

Greets everyone..

I just wanted to express my appreciation to the many people who make CSDb work as it does.

For example, I upload something and have no clue about music, or artwork if not mentioned in the work itself, and someone else will fill in the blanks. A fantastic amount of effort everybody makes to give the most detail on any one file!

I also like how people can comment on releases.

This place simply rocks, and will continue to get my full support of uploading anything in my collection that I don't see.

I just had to share this with everyone :D

I don't look at it as a crypt.

A preservation of the C64's past and present?

This is probably the most ACTIVE c64 website I know of, but again, I don't know much of anything anymore..

No doubt. The CSDb was/is a wonderful concept. For the last fifteen years I have thought frequently about the scene and have missed it dearly. To find out the scene is still alive and that quality standards have raised to an even higher level than ever before is simply amazing. Bravo X 10 billion!

I love CSDb, too.

And Oswald _had_ to say that, to not loose his image as grumpy old man.

Same here.

As much as we rag on CSDb, perff, the mods and all the lunacy on the forums - its still a great place.

Had it not been for CSDb, I (and a lot of you guys) probably wouldnt have found back to the c64 scene.

(ZOMFG!! CSDB AINT DA SCENE DUDE!!11ELEVENHUNDRED! DIRTY FORUMSCENER!#@?^!!).

It has definitely revived the scene and resulted in a lot of realscene activity that wouldn't have happened otherwise.

yes this place is amazing!

but as a preservation society as a whole:

ive seen sites that dont include intro's on the releases!

NOW i do NOT agree with that!

thats not preservation
