1541U II, is it possible to do firmware update from USB?

Repost from 1541ultimate.net forum ( 41 views, no answer. hm)

Is it possible to update U1541 II firmware from USB key?

I somehow couldn't manage to do it. Or I would rather say, I didn't notice anything like "update in progress" or .. version in the setup menu saying Firmware V2.2

afaik the only way is to use sd-card.

(you will definately notice if the updater is running, its quite verbose about what it is doing)

Thanx for info. That's what I thought when nothing happened after I tried everything I could think of. So I need to buy some micro-sd card/reader/writer and put the update on SD card.
