Where do I buy a c64
Hi all,
I need to start testing my code on a real breadbox. However, so I was wondering if there's anybody in here who has any of these items for sale:
C-64
1541
A small monitor (unless someone know of a way to connect it to a hdmi monitor)
The Arcade Joystick
Turbo Loader (Final Cartridge 3, Dolphin Dos or something similar would be great)
in the Sealand(Sjælland)/Denmark or Malmø/Lund/Sweden area up for sale?
I'm willing to come and pick it up if the price is right :)
You can PM me here - I check in regularly.
Thanks.

Hi trap,
if you don't get a system before the LCP-Party that is in exactly 1 month, I will arrange a system for you there with pleasure, but maybe you have to pick it up in Lund then, don't show up at the partyplace without a demo :-D
would love to see some bonzai stuff.
just let me know.

(and plenty more available)
If you opt for the one in Munkebo, I can give the first round of Guinness at Ryan's in Odense :-). |

Picked up a wonderfull original breadbox C-64 today. I almost cried :)
Came with a 1802D(Composite?????) monitor and a white 1541 with flip-down lock instead of the normal pull-down lock that the normal 1541's have - not sure what drive this really is. Well, I might replace those one day, but not a priority right now.
I've placed an order for a S-video cable from Protovision - I hope that'll allow me to use my TV with a decent result. If only somebody would make an LCD running 50.13hz :)
Put in a pre-order for the U1541-2.
So, I'm almost set. Already have a bunch of things I wrote on emu that I need to test.
Best part is that my 8y old son was almost as exited as I when I put it up there next to the PC. He was quite intrigued by the concept of floppies and joysticks. Wow :) |

The white flip-down 1541 is just a newer version of the drive.
Nothing wrong with that :) |

It's doing fine, so I'm happy :)
... dude, I *am* back ... only 3 kids, wife and job keeping me from coding these days - so it's not a demo every month like in the days :D |

The S-video cable from Protovision works fine. I had hoped the audio in noise reduction would be better, but I can live with it. Now I'm waiting for my S-video to minijack adapter so I can hook my C-64 up to one of those small DVD-players for cars. Will save me some space :) |

Charles Deenen wants to sell his old pal c64, with discs and stuff. I told him to make sure he sold it to someone who has a relation to the scene. :-)
Saw this on facebook today. |
