WinVice and Windows 7 - Can't use F keys
I recently installed Winvice on a Laptop with Windows 7. When i attached the retro replay cardridge i recognized, that i can't get out of the card menu pressing one of the keys F1, F3, F5, F7. Vice just does not react on the F keys. The F keys are still assigned to the Windows 7 functions like help (F1) and so on. How can i bring vice to accept the F keys and Windows 7 be quiet?

Note sure, but in my ears this seems to be something that needs to be configured in Windows, not Vice. |

I figured out now, that pressing fn and the function key at the same time performs the desired action. A good workaround, but it would still be easier to just press only the function key and make the emuator react on it instead of windows 7. Any idea?

This is an issue with your laptop, not winvice. There should be a setting for it somewhere. If your laptop is a macbook with Boot Camp, it's in the Boot Camp/Keyboard control panel. For some it's a BIOS setting. It depends on what kind of laptop you have. |
