Stockholm Computer Club (STOCC) PD Library
Yo!
A bunch of years ago I got the master disks for Stockholm Computer Club's PD Library from the man who was once upon a time responsible for this PD library. As these floppies aren't doing anything else than just lying around anyway I am now dumping them to .d64. I have two questions:
1. Is anyone interested in the original set of disks?
2. Is anyone interested in the .d64 version of the disk set?

@Magervalp: They sometimes had ads in magazines like DMZ. Was that how you found out about them?
About 1/3 of the disks transferred so far. Will let you ppl know when the xferring is finished. |

Yeah, I think I bought every issue of Datormagazin from 1987 to 1993 or so.
Also, C64 games are well preserved through various efforts, and of course scene releases are preserved here, but PD/user group/hobbyist software don't have a proper home. |

@Mager: Completely agree! I would also add other kinds of commercial software than games to that list of badly preserved stuff. I'd like to have a look at some of the commercial MIDI software for the C64 (Dr. T and others), for example, but can't really find it anywhere. |

A bit of off-top here ;-)
I've recently moved to Stockholm. Staying here for a little while and was wondering if there's any C64 folk here? Raise your hands! Maybe we can organise a C64 thing or just meet for a pint? :-) Send a PM! |

@Rough.
Mostly, but a few of us are hiding out in Göteborg (Gothenburg) after the elks ate all but one of our C64s |

...and returning to the original topic of this thread. I no longer have the STOCC disks, so don't expect me to put them up as d64 anywhere. :) (I gave the disks to Taper when I happened to drive by close to where he lives anyway.)
I do regret that I gave the disk boxes away though. Didn't think of the fact that I did that until afterwards. Myyy diiiiskboooxes ... buhu buhu.. :)

Bah. I hope Taper dumps them quickly then, and makes them available online. But I guess they are busy with Jerry's disks. Sob. I was looking forward to check them out.
Taper: I could dump them whenever if you are in Lund some day. |
