Celebrate 2012
Greetings all my fellow sceners :) We now begin a new year. We now begin the Year of the Dragon in honor of Chinese Astrology. All wars ended in a matter of hours. We have peace. Former adversaries are now friends. We are one scene. We are one family.
A beautiful fact that the scene is approaching the age of 30.
The Commodore 64 is immortal. No doubt that our scene will outlast the internet.

30 years = 20 Moore's Law iterations at 18 month intervals. This means that modern computers should now be 2^20 = 1048576 times better than a C64. So to equal the C64 scene, the PC scene needs to make demos that are over a million times better than ours. ;) |
