'New' games for inclusion in Xbox package.
I've been following new releases since some time now, that's quite some, glad the C64 scene seems to be one of the most lively of 'retro' (can i call it that?) scenes.
Since some time now I'm busy handpicking games for , what has to become a sort of 'ultimate' game & scene-demo package for Xbox. Now as i was into 64 gaming myself in the past, I roughly know what games to pick. But as for later releases (say beyond '98) I don't know as much. Which are good?
Recent releases such as 'C64anabalt' are already included. But releases such as the 'On the farm' series, I' not sure of, and I don't have enough time to play them extensively.
Any games I definitely should include? (preferable games that are, or come close to, a certain level of quality someone would expect from a 'commercial' release).
Thanks in advance for any tips.

Drop me a PM Asphodel, I can give you a line up of our proposed new releases and we can see if any tie in with your release date.
(Oh, I'm the RGCD guy, btw) |

Greenrunner and Redrunner are two of my favourite C64 games. |

Okay, great thanks for the response! Certainly some titles i did't know of (and nice ones too!).
@ Heavy Stylus : Thank you I might just do that. We had some setbacks due to loss of data recently. But it's shaping up again.
In the meantime I noticed some nice new (re)cracks, such as the mentioned Green- and Redrunner (added). Good to see that the C64 Scene is still going strong!

@ Asphodel, this sounds promising. Would you mind telling us some more about this project? Is it an upcoming release for the 360 with various C64 games? Will it be available on Xbox Live Marketplace or on disc (so the poor bastards like myself who don't have XBLM still can get it)? Any info would be interesting, as it sounds like a cool project. |

@Asphodel - Aleksi is currently working on an update of Green and Redrunner to make them NTSC compatible (like the cracks) for a forthcoming cartridge compilation - so you won't need to rely on cracks for your xbox collection :) |

Sorry for the late reply.
The project is NOT a commercial one. We are trying to make the quality as high (if not higher) as if it WERE a commercial release.
We cover various systems , NES, SNES, AMIGA etc. I'm the one doing the C64 mainly (hurray!).
We started doing stuff with Xbox1 as our main focus (still better emulation wise than ANY system). But it's starting to pour over into 360, PS3, PC / LINUX and more.
I'm trying to get most of it finished this summer : the package will roughly include 4000 games all 'handpicked'. It includes stuff like (box) art, screenshots, game-info AND ready made configurations , so the games all work 'out of the box' so to speak (Games like Renegade work with controller now, Cybernoid has it's weapons mapped etc.)
