Did anybody have 7 sec-copy by Gadgets?
Can't find it on the net badly :-(

7-sec copy ? I guess that this tool is for one-files because it's not possible to copy 1 side of disc in 7 seconds :) |

Is it maybe a parallel burst nibbler? Otherwise I couldn't imagine how 35 tracks can be copied within 7 seconds! :) |

Well, the 1541 runs at 300 rpm, which is 5 Hz. That means you can read or write 5 tracks in one second. 35 tracks / 5 per second = 7 seconds :)
Yep, has to be a parallel nibbler.

its possible with parallel cable :) 7 secs is kinda optimistic figure though, it will usually take about 9 :=) |

Parallel cable + GCR copy + no verify
I would not use such a copy program :D |

dual pararell for 2 drives which I'm using is really damned fast but yes , it's slower than 7 seconds because I'm using verify option :) |
