Don't understand why you need the PRO version for, I mean what are you going to convert the SIDs into?
If you want to save out SIDS to WAV, Sidplay2w can do that.

problem im having is all my music files are dat files and when i try converting them to sid files they dont work
so im doing something wrong but not sure what |

Sidedit is the tool you want to use to create SIDs from DAT or PRG files:

Mail me a DAT file, and a SID file that you didn't get to work, and I'll check and guide you to make it work.

Seems like the DAT files already have a PSID-header, so just rename all your .DAT files to .SID and they will work in your favourite Sidplayer. |
