DreamLoad help
Hey there - I'm trying to make use of Dreamload in a production,
but can't get it to load more than 2-3 blocks without it freezing in
a loop in the kernal. I'm using v2.2. Thinking it was my computer
(NTSC C-128) or drive (FD-2000) I tried it with my PAL breadbox
64 and a 1541 too - same results.
If anyone has advice, I'd like to hear it. Post here or email me at
macbeth@nospam.psw.ca - I've emailed Doc Baccardi, but haven't
heard back yet - and coding inspiration is draining away :) Success
means a new release for the scene! |

Sorry about the double-post - I clicked refresh on the forum
view after I had posted, and then a second copy of my
message appeared! Never seen that happen before... |

Well, as lame as it seems, I think I was just being too literal, actually expecting the Chapter 5 example in eng.txt (the DL dox) to work as is! I checked out the slightly more complicated example (dl_test.src), noticed it had a SEI, tried that in my own code, and everything started working. Maybe it just doesn't like something in the regular kernal interrupt. Well, just gotta get it working in my own program now. Thanks for reading! |

Ninja / DRM is checking these pages regularly, so I'm sure if he was around he would help you out if you didn't figure it out yourself (which is always a great feeling, isn't it? ;-). Anyway good luck with your coding mate. I look forward for the result of your effort.

Well, I am here from time to time, but more for checking the database and hardly reading the forums. I wish I had time for that...
