Trilogic Expert software

Hi,
I'm looking for all drivers and other tools for Trilogic Expert cartridge. I'm especially looking for: v4.2 and all hacks (like star expert for example which I already have or Mad Mekon hack which is already in CSDB).
Thanks

Here's 4.1 - let me know if you find 4.2!

Sometime ago somebody has been selling Expert with v4.2 on eBay but I didn't win it. It seems that 4.2 is hard to find. I just have 4.1 monitor. Thank your for your link. It seems however that your version is also missing monitor. I'll try to come up with mixing different tools and version to build new multi-menu disk.

Hmm, you're right - I've only got my original 3.2 disk...

I think I have 4.2 lying around here somewhere, although I never used it.

I used a mod from Four Star that had most of the goodies just in 1 file instead of a dozen seperate tools.

Off topic, yet not entirely: I've always been curious about how to program the Expert cartridge.

Is there a place where I can find documentation on how the cartridge operates?

(I might have v4.2 somewhere, not sure, not even sure if it's English)

wasn't it just 8Kb (32 blocks) that got copied from $8000 > $0000 or something like that?

@ Sorex: I think the memory of the cart and the RAM of the computer get swapped.

But how do I get access to the swapped memory on the cart from within my utility that has been copied to RAM?
And what do I need to put in my software to 'unswap'?

I feel like I should reverse engineer the software I have :)

I asked about the software because I'm doing the write up for codebase64 regarding different cartridges (there is my article online already). I have almost finished reversing original 2.x and Mad Mekon version for the text (this programs Expert differently than original ones and few other hacked versions). If anyone is willing to share with me and other users his versions of expert software than please do ;) I'm trying to put together one big archive of Expert software. Personally I think this is one of the best and most interesting carts for c64 and I love using it so it is a shame it got a bit forgotten.

As for multiple files Trilogic after 3.x line moved to disk menu idea. I think one problem was that they tried to suite everybody which wasn't possible. Secondly there were some users file submissions included on original disks too I belive.

AlexC, I agree with you that the Expert is a marvelous cartridge. The monitor of what I know as the tool Star Expert is the best and most extensive monitor I know. The 'hunt' features are very versitile and strong.

All my pre-1998 coding was done with it, and so was the coding of my fellow Secure members Trinity and Stratford.

Ok, here is what I've found out. The most trivial way to program the Expert is to upload the driver to $8000-$9FFF. Reading different version of software and technical specs I'd advise to do LDA $DE00 also. Going back to analysing MMC technique (it seems to be based on triggering NMI but I can be wrong).
