Yes - you FSKING think you matter? You dont.
Triad called me a "fucker upper" - screwit - blame them for how it is.
Barry "Derbyshire Ram" Joynes ... you the man. You are the fucking GOD of the C64 scene because you did'nt try to be a god, you believed people matter - and was right on. Because of that - and how you helped people see what mattered. Barry Joynes - You belong up there with Jim Butterfield.

using aspergers syndrome as an excuse for these kind of posts is kind of lame.
I have ADD and PDD-NOS, I have dyscalculia... so what? I don't bring that up constantly either...
hiding behind a diagnosis that was labled onto you by some highly educated guy is weak..

If every drunk person with mental issues in the C64 scene would post as unrestrained as WAR just did, this site would be...
...a total mindless anarchistic chaos of unreadable endless cursing rants!
Which isn't too far from reality, at times :-) |

I second that. I think that people who would be considered clinically sane are fairly uncommon in the c64 scene... but that's what makes it fun ;_)

Hmmm...
Being diagnosed with nothing more exciting but normality, I feel kinda left out of this discussion. :| |

Dont take our shit too seriously. Most of us here suffer from one or more mental disorders. You're in good company here, really.

Rather random post.. a lot of people knew Barry of all different levels , esp. UK people and you'll find a common thing, no one had anything bad to say about him, which is rare.
So yep, I like others (including yourself) were lucky enough to know him and he did have a lot of time for people. He was a bloke you could pretty much talk to about anything.
Heck I used to know you at one point WAR.. but I don't get what your miffed about, I'm sure I'm not the only one.
Is it the fact you miss him or something?
I lost touch with him and plenty more, but that's how things changed and we have as well.
He didn't need any labels , that was part of it. To most he was "Barry" and at least we had the luck to know the guy so look at it that way.
