Looking to contact SilverFox from Arts of Darkness! Please help...

Hi there,

I'm trying to get in contact with SirFox from Arts Of Darkness. I've tried via the PM system here with no luck. Is he no longer active in the C64 scene?

I'm looking to release an 8KB cartridge version of his great little game 'Hyper'. The conversion has been done, but I'd like to get his permission to add them to www.rgcd.co.uk and of course send him a copy too.

Can anyone help?

Kind regards,

James.

He quit the scene long (maybe 5 years?) ago. He was from Berlin, maybe some folks from there know how to contact him? I assume you tried the email address from his entry?

Yes - I tried his email and the other member (Drake?) too, but no answer after several weeks.

As I'm not actually adding a mark-up to these anyway (and there will be less than 50 carts in total), do you reckon it would be OK to 'publish' the carts without contact from SilverFox? He'll be credited of course, and I can mention on the info page that I'm trying to contact him so I can send him a copy...

Kind of goes against my morals to do that, but it seems silly to just sit on this waiting for a reply that will never come if he has really quit the scene for good!

Hey, I'm from Berlin, too. I used to be in contact with SilverFox, but that was years ago. However, I still should have a cell phone number from him. Not sure if that is still valid, though. Another chance is that someone from my university knows someone who knows him ;)
So I can try to get in touch with him.

That would be awesome if you could help!

Perhaps tell him about the site and let him see the cart versions of Cosine/T.M.R's that I'm selling... There's a few more games I've got here in various stages of WIP, but as long as he knows that these are being made (a) because I'm a fan of his game and (b) it just for shits and giggles and not financial reward I'm sure he won't care too much.

If you can get an active email address then I'd really appreciate it!
