EDOS software and hardware
This is not exactly scene related, but I'm looking for one of the "EDOS" machines, or more specifically, the CDs that contained the various software titles.
For those that don't remember, EDOS (Electronic Distribution of Software) was a system where retailers got a computer in their store that could master tapes and disks on-site. Here's a catalog which describes it a bit better.

I'm willing to pay $50 if someone manages to put me in contact with someone who still owns one of these machines, preferably with the software CDs too. |

i think you have to look in the USA, and i think you have to ask some very old geezers.
maybe a type like the owner of http://www.floppydisk.com/ would know something. and those old type guys, who had a physical shop once. |

I'm not sure they even had these machines in the US. Seems like a mostly European thing. |

Wow ! I remember EDOS, had one in the store I worked in back in 1991-92.
This was a European thing, and it was operated by us and controlled by EDOS (Modem every evening). Sadly it worked not so well. Not sure if they have whats left of it back in the basement, I could check next time Im around. |
