Text from The Deek Zone

Description:note
Text:good-evening ladies and gentlemen, and welcome to : the deek zone! may i first point out that this is not a magazine, it's just a program that i (deek) shall release every once in a while when i want to send messages to my contacts, or when i have something to say. don't think of it as a crap mag, think of it as an informative demo! guess which key you have to press...

lets have the credits, then i'll get on with the other stuff. coding by : deek / genesis project, graphics by : deek / genesis project, music by : reyn ouwehand / mon. i will probably release a new piece of music by me with each of these 'things'. i had no time to write a tune 4 this 1

how do ya like the logo above??? looks sort of fli-esque doesn't it?? it's just characters, all the colours were achieved by using the raster. ok, now i'll send a few (a lot) of messages to some of my contacts. please note, they aren't really in any particular order, just brain order...

raistlin / genesis project: hi robert! you're my number one contact! always cool letters, hot stuff (by you and others), and very helpful while i'm trying to learn how to code! when i get a spare minute, i'll compose a piece of music for the endemic main program (on macmagic's routine). my tip for you is: de-brown man! hehe! using brown spoils the look of yer stuff

bizzmo / genesis project: hi doug! your demo with the mini-game is well 'ard. i'm sure it'll be a real big hit when you release it (in 2047)! also, the woman with the large coconuts will probably go down even better! keep up them graphics, and stop playing with the cat (ooer!). hint : move to a large field! (personal)

t.d.m. / genesis project: hiya robin! looking forward to seeing your demo, i guess you'll have it done by now (i'll phone later tonight!) hints : buy a portable phone, you're never in the house!!!. get some contacts! haha!! surely you must have been contacted by a few people with your address in endemic by now! i've had tons!

xayne / crest: hi giuseppe! i reckon that's the most times i've ever got anyone's name wrong! it's such an unusual name to me! looking forward to hearing your efforts on the co-op tune, it's a real weird concept! why don't you do some music on a better editor than fc4? --- this program was released on 18:4:90

goldrush / crest: hi guido (another new name on me!)!.. looking forward to doing sum serious disk swapping and letter-writing with you! sorry i couldn't join, but i'm very happy in genesis project. what do you think about taking the xayne+deek co-up tune further into a co-demo between crest and genesis? hint : buy dan reed network's album!

scrap / genesis project: hi oliver! it was pretty weird to talk to you on the phone as i don't usually call anyone out of the u.k. (fonebill) if you do have a conference, then give me a ring. note to antichrist : one of the tunes you asked for (the queen one) should be winging it's way to you in about a week's time!.

genius / paradize: hi john! nice graphics! please do some logos for genesis as soon as you can and i'll do likewise for you. looking forward to seeing the next demo by you guys, and also looking forward to swapping disks and long letters with ya! what do you think of this little program then? i'm not much of a coder, but i'm learning!

macmagic / mon: hi reyn! quite a pleasant surprise to get a letter from you! the tune now playing is my favourite of all your tunes, luvvit! looking forward to swapping tunes with you, and maybe routines if you have any unusual ones! hope you can complete the interview thing for endemic! wooooooaaaaalalalaoaoaoaoalapressthebar!

softmaster / union: hi patrick! hope to do some music routine swapping with you soon! keep up the music and the demos! .. jch / vibrants: hi jens! i luv reading ya letters, but how about writing them on paper? pleez give the interview thingy to thomas. keep up the quick replies!

powpin / circle system: hhhii!! thanks for the reply, looking forward to swapping with you! do you want to swap music routines? if so, write down a list of what you've got! telemachus / ???: have you got that drum-editor sorted out yet ian? looking forward to the bug-free version of fc3!

price / megastyle: hi there! you always send good stuff, (especially the msi productions!), but i wish you'd write longer letters! how about getting another msi member to write my letters, and you just do the disks?!?! send a bit faster if you can (i know you're up to it!) megazine two was pretty nice, i liked the cartoon-esque faces and stuff!

aaron / fairlight: hi aaron! i've only swapped once with you so far, and what you sent was pretty cool (i got your spread disk from about three more people later in the week.). the fairlight stuff was nice! if you have troubles filling disks with legal stuff, then wait until you have enough rather than send games! if you send games then we can't swap.

mechanix / motion: hi robin! you sent nice stuff, sorry about the delay in replying! please get nick/motion to do some logos for genesis project, and then i'll do logos/music for motion! i don't like to swap as many as five disks at a time, cos by the time i get five disks of cool stuff, half of it's a bit old... two or three at a time!

ok, that's enough messages this time.. now i'll give you some info. if you want to swap with me, then you'll have to be really good, cos i have too many contacts already. i only like legal stuff, so if you can't fill two or three disks with cool stuff without putting games on, i don't wanna know about you! gamers are lamers! people most likely to get a reply from me are artists and musicians from big groups who i have no contacts with. i love to look at different music routines, so if you have some rare or unusual ones which you think i may not have, then please contact me! i'm also desperately in need of a top-quality routine which i can use to do music for games! ok, my address is as follows: *** scotland. if you wish to phone me, then dial: *** i'm quite interested in getting a descent modem which would let me log onto bbs'es for amiga and 64 (the modem would have to work on both), but i know very little about comms. if anyone would like to give me some information on good modems, software, and just general info on comms, then you have my address: get writing!!! well i really must quit this thing and get it packed now as i have quite a few disks to copy and letters to write tonight, and it's 9:18 already! i hope you enjoyed reading it! signed : deek/g*p genesis project - accept no limits
