Just saw the update. Rumour has it that he died of an heart attack February 1st 10AM on the way to work ( http://www.lemon64.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=814933#814933 ). :( That is really sad news. I had some really long chats with him; he was a really nice guy, and a great collector of games.

I really hope someone can give us some definitive source on this. It's not fun if it is a hoax (and even worse if it is true, of course). I reacted as it was a new user on Lemon who is the only source on this, with no info who he is.
