CharSet only: Max 256 unique characters.
Logo required: Must form a readable word/phrase/number.
** No AI!: Use of AI for generation or inspiration is forbidden. **
** No copying!: Please don't copy - inspiration/mimicking is ok within reason. **
** No converting!: Fresh work only as we already said. **
No VIC tricks: No sprites, rasters, or other effects (except for fade-in).

if you don't know how to convert your logo to charmode, png2prg 1.10.1 is here to help you.
It supports all standard gfx-modes, including all char-modes.
Simply run a 320x200 png through png2prg with the -display flag and it should autodetect the correct gfx mode.
In case it doesn't, try forcing the mode:
png2prg -d -m petscii image.png
png2prg -d -m sccharset image.png
png2prg -d -m mccharset image.png
png2prg -d -m mixedcharset image.png
png2prg -d -m ecm image.png
Enjoy this fun compo :) |

@Burg:
ECM! Yes! I like to poke in my own displayers for everything from scratch, but for ECM last time I had to bother a real coder (thanks Icon!). I’ll surely try png2prg out! Thanks! |
