Textmode Competition
Under Construction 2017 had a 'Oldskool GFX' and a 'Textmode' competition. Both were open for multiple platforms, so they are technically both 'Mixed Graphics'. Separate PETSCII competitions and Textmode competitions that are also open for PETSCII entries are becoming more and more common, so I'd like to suggest two new competition types 'PETSCII Graphics' and "Mixed Textmode" or something along that line. |

Suggesting things to be done on CSDb? I admire your optimism.
So you have either just time-travelled to this point from the early 2000s, or haven't really paying attention on how stuff is going around here in the last decade. |

I agree these "mixed graphics" don't make much sense if it's been a pure PETSCII compo like at X or Zoo, or a text art compo like some other parties. |

from perspective of orga I think for parties, stuff like WiLD/Mixed still do as workaround dummy categories, but new categories would rather make things clearer than do any harm, so why not, however, maybe not the most urgent thing on CSDb admin to do list |

i'd prefer 'PETSCII Graphics' plus a 'crossplatform' flag that can be added to *any* compo type. |
