floppy disks
hi
does anyone know of a good place to buy some blank 5.25 inch floppies??
i cant really find any anywhere except ebay and they wont ship to the uk :( |

Btw, this is different for 3.5" disks though. There you can use HD disks in DD drives since the difference between HD and DD is much smaller.

Not really, for many HD 3.5" disks don't work on 1581 e.g.
Tried it with mine. DD 3.5" work perfect though, but they are not easy to find (in Germany at least). |

Try go64.de thats a German site. They got pretty good
5.25 DD Disks. 3 Euros per 10. Maybe they ship to GB !?
Dont use HDs, they need a higher magnetig level and
will loose data ! .. Good Luck |
