Why not also silence the C64 sound, so you can not hear any 'sound signature' or typical sounds of a certain musician?
The orgas can than read out loud a description of what the music sounds like, to further anonymize the compo.

And while we're at it, lets make demos anonymous :D

I'd rather see the orga's do a barbershop style version of each tune in the compo. Wearing proper outfits.

no, everybody hands in sheet music, and reyn or jt plays it live on a standard piano!

C64 Competitions :

{...}

- For both the music and graphics competition no visible signature of the artist may be shown during the display of the actual work, thus the production should be tagless.(...)

Excellent!

Respect.

The website goes on in the old stiff fashion: "your entry must be delivered on a floppy disk, and disks will not be returned"

No mention, that you can come walzing with a usb stick/sd card, and get the compo organizer to copy your stuff to his own pc.

I think you should write that this is possible to do, on the website. Since you said it would be possible (Burglar).

I think all demo entries will be handed in on floppy disc anyway. Most musics too, only lamers like me don't test it on a real c64. Only gfx might not be tested on a real c64.

I will be spreading some stuff on Friday night via floppy disks and maybe some cds for those with their laptops.

NUFLI flickers on a real C64? Has anyone tested? :)
