BBS

Why not include a section for BBS' as well? It's a big part of the scene that's not sufficiently supported by CSDB so far.

Sounds good, Enno. Still: I do not know about the userlist though. When do I add my name? I myself called some boards once or twice, some others more frequently, some never. The latter group, no problem, but how about the rest? It's not like a party where you either were present or not, not like a group, where you were a member of or not... see my point?

Good list there Enno.

I'm not too sure about the userlist. Will end up being a giant pile of names eventually. Is that as important as the rest of the information?

No it's certainly not important,

So I would say, forget about the userlist

Let the users write feedback about the BBS in the trivia. Would be nice if we can dig around and find some of the BBS gfx for screenshots to add also (a difficult task).

it could easily be posted on antidote for some more CG-bonanza there. then screenshots of the most beloved screens could be uploaded here.

or preferably, thedungeon.hopto.org :-)

afaik 1 bbs can have N timeranges.
for example, terminal obsession was closed and
reopened years later by Avantgarde.
maybe even under a changed number. so 1 bbs could have N phonenumbers.

i think a userlist is not that useful but a
nice feature anyway it's nice to browse through when
you have absolutely nothing else to do..

Okay guys, this looks very promising now. One could even add the toll-free numbers... errrm, well, maybe not. Forget about the user list.

Yes, Warez Aquarium and Virtual Light for example.

WaQ: First run by Jedi/ex.Atom/ex.LL cool J/ex. Benny Hill.
Then taken over by Tron/FLT and later run by Sledge/FLT.
(Or if it was Sledge->Tron->Sledge, however thats unimportat at this point. Just want to point out that boards were inherited.)

VL: Tao was sysop. then Joyride took over.
