Well, the US presidential elections are less than 24 hours away, and those American rednecks still think Bush is a great president...

Nice site this Sex & Crime online.

The only thing not needed there in my opinion is all
those ugly marketing shit.

I'm happy we don't have that at our www.scs-trc.net site.

And YES I understand you can make money out it , but
hell , I don't need to make money out of everything !

Well, I understand your point. Nobody likes ads. Newspapers would be more interesting if there were no ads for medicine and cars in them. TV shows would be more fun if there were no commercial breaks. Websites would be better if there were no banners.

Sex'n'Crime makes about $17 per day. That's about $500 per month. Simply by placing some ads on the pages. Why should I say no if someone wants to give me $500? The ads aren't so terrible. Someone who doesn't like them can simply ignore them.

Usually i would agree with you not to start up any political discussions here, but due to the fact, that far too many people all over the world lost their lifes, caused by more than stupid and senseless decisions, made by just one man, namely George W. Bush, it is absolutely OK, no, it is even recommended, to let everybody know, that the people outside the US really hope, that everyone that is in charge of voting for the new U.S. President, is finally stopping those criminals in the White House, that more than obviously just follow their economic targets to increase their personal profits. And if Oliver's articels at Sex'n'Crime may just lead to only one U.S. American reading them and therefore changing his opinion to NOT vote for Bush, then he should god damn advertise his link into every thread at CSDb. This is our world and we all suffer from people like Bush being President of the USA.

It's unbelievable to me - as it is for most europeans - that americans buy into Bush's propaganda so easily. Are these people blind to what he has been doing to their country and how many lifes this man must have on his conciousness and obviously doesn't even care?

I know this post doesn't bring anything new to the light of day, just felt I had to give my own two cents in these last hours upto the election.

Don't know much about Kerry, but he sure as hell can hardly be worse than W.

One thing that pisses me off is Euros who think they know the opinions of all Americans. Euros who think all Americans are the same. Euros who think that Americans either don't care or don't know whats happening in the world. pfftt. Think before you open your mouth.

Well, the Euros aren't that far off. Bush supporters really don't know what's going on...

Quote:

Even after the final report of Charles Duelfer to Congress saying that Iraq did not have a significant WMD program, 72% of Bush supporters continue to believe that Iraq had actual WMD (47%) or a major program for developing them (25%). Fifty-six percent assume that most experts believe Iraq had actual WMD and 57% also assume, incorrectly, that Duelfer concluded Iraq had at least a major WMD program. Kerry supporters hold opposite beliefs on all these points.

Similarly, 75% of Bush supporters continue to believe that Iraq was providing substantial support to al Qaeda, and 63% believe that clear evidence of this support has been found. Sixty percent of Bush supporters assume that this is also the conclusion of most experts, and 55% assume, incorrectly, that this was the conclusion of the 9/11 Commission. Here again, large majorities of Kerry supporters have exactly opposite perceptions.

This tendency of Bush supporters to ignore dissonant information extends to other realms as well. Despite an abundance of evidence--including polls conducted by Gallup International in 38 countries, and more recently by a consortium of leading newspapers in 10 major countries--only 31% of Bush supporters recognize that the majority of people in the world oppose the US having gone to war with Iraq. Forty-two percent assume that views are evenly divided, and 26% assume that the majority approves. Among Kerry supporters, 74% assume that the majority of the world is opposed.

Similarly, 57% of Bush supporters assume that the majority of people in the world would favor Bush's reelection; 33% assumed that views are evenly divided and only 9% assumed that Kerry would be preferred. A recent poll by GlobeScan and PIPA of 35 of the major countries around the world found that in 30, a majority or plurality favored Kerry, while in just 3 Bush was favored. On average, Kerry was preferred more than two to one.

OK ok Tristan, my apologies, I didn't make myself clear enough - I very well know there are alot of americans opposed to Bush. I was simply trying to state my confusion with the fact that these two people apparently stand so equally in the polls - so that MUST mean there are a LOT of americans who support Bush - but obviously not ALL of them..
