Interesting C64 vs Spectrum competition :)

I found this few days ago:

http://www.alfonsomartone.itb.it/fztsmo.html

Its a C64 vs Spectrum trial...

Its pretty funny, unfortunately not good for commodore side... Mostly because of bad c64 competitors...

p.s. Offcourse C64 is better than specy :)

I find it interesting that the ones who are bringing up this C64 vs. Speccy nonsense are almost without exception, the Speccy guys. I never heard a C64 scener complaining out loud and desperately about the C64's technical highness over Spectrum. That actually gives me the impression that some of them, subconsciously, really fear of inferiority, or are really concerned that they might be wrong (wether they are, or not).

Dudes, who the fuck cares if your machine is better or not. Live with your limitations/advances and go contribute to the scene, wether it's based on C64, Spectrum, or a digital calculator.

This topic is lame

Well, some posts in it are...

True. I also understand why Spectrum sceners use it, the beeper is just too horrible :D

By doing so the Spectrum sceners admit that the original ZX Spectrum was just too horrible to use, while the C64 scene has no problem using the original C64 and does not need the extra features of the C128 or addons like REU. The C64 is good the way it is :)

i think G meant multicolour pixels in general, Speccy users call them blocky and forget the hi-res mode is actually higher than the Speccy's. =-)

I don't forget that, but the fact is that 110 % of C64 games use the lores mode. Well, how many demos use hires gfx?

I can't believe Oswald is still taking me seriously. :D
