straight from YOUR playlist
if you encounter a piece of sound so great you want to hang yourself for not being able to write something of similar quality...
if you think you've just found the best music ever made...
if you think a certain song/tune/symphony contains some unusually awesome elements...
...and you want to share it with other c64 composers and not necessarily via your facebook wall, just do it here.
explanations, reviews and so on warmly welcome.
one link per day max.
have fun. |

Perhaps an obvious choice but I like it nevertheless. Interesting harmonies and lots of arpeggiated runs. |

"St. Luke's Passion" - rather long and complex, but definitely worth a listen. a masterpiece of 20th century music if you ask me. |

Mike Oldfield live. Somehow I hear same vibes in many 80's sids by certain british sid musicians.
Also, Pekka Pohjola plays bass on that concert. I highly recommend listening to all of his production. Progressive and Jazz. |

Pekka played with Made in Sweden mid '70s. Not on this one though.

mr Pohjola/Oldfield et. al. co-op.
Absolutely brilliant stuff. Also, W.A.R and Monty On the Run, anyone? I am sure the moments catch your ear during songs 4. 5. 6. |

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0SJIgTLe0hc my recent must listen to - not only because of really badass groove that Snarky Puppy really master but above all Lalah Hathaway's feature and her madness since 6th minute. Intervals on one voice? If SID can, why not her?! :D |
