Quote: Ah, the question of cooperation, for me tightly coupled with the question of multiple group membership...
I would rather see a two disk side Oxyron demo and a two disk side Censor demo than a four disk side Censor+Oxyron demo, because I like the competition between different groups.
Think of it as football, or some other sport: You might be friends with the players in the other teams, but you still face them as opponents on the field. Having just two or three super teams with players from all over the place might lead to a few excellent matches, but also to a boring league in the long run.
If it would just be that easy. Then suddenly pack ratio changes, the splitted files overwrite IO or other democode, loading time changes as content moves on the disk and thus a file laying on one track might suddenly end up laying across two tracks. Syncs do not fit any more due to more loading time (despite buffers). Been there, linked that. Do not come up with easy said solutions if you did not feel the pain :-) |

The next greetings part is going to be short, as greeting parts bore all, there's no need to add your groups anyway ;-) |

Quote: I agree with CreaMD. It was also a boring greetings part, because the delay caused by loading the next sample/logo was just a tad bit too long. So in the end I was bored, and that's something that shouldn't happen in an X-winning demo.
You went from the best greetings part ever (CL13) to the worst, imho.
Now I know that winning a competition is a bad thing... releasing an unfinished end part is a bad thing... doing coops is a bad thing... doing more than 2 disk sides is a bad thing... but, going to the X-Party was great!!! |

well... this sounds so familiar and is one reason why i quit doing demo stuff in the future. the delay is an issue, where the demo is not finished yet. please be patient... |

Hey Oliver, please don't take it too personal.
We're really just nitpicking here, since we don't have much to complain at all. :) |

Veto, nobody was pointing fingers to your direction. You did a cool job of making it cute and loveable. The dude responsible for dramaturgy is guilty! Whoever that was ;-)
And what Mr.SID said. |

Veto, thanx I'm quite surprised. It's a real honor to be greeted in such a cool production. Will check it on rl mchn when I get time for propper demo session. |

I'm glad we could watch the entire greetings part. Not that I expected my group to be greeted, but purely out of respect for Veto and his logos. |
