codebase64
Anybody know what happened, it seems to have been nuked?
https://codebase64.org/ just shows a cgi-bin from 2017 and any links to a known page return "well this should be a 404 but they don't even have a 404 page" |

For better SEO purposes - for prevent "duplicate content", there should be chosen one "main" domain and other domains redirected with 301 status to this "main" domain.
For example:
codebase64.pokefinder.org -> 301 redirect to: codebase64.net
or
codebase64.net -> 301 redirect to: codebase64.pokefinder.org
But in the first case when paid domain (.net) expires or becomes unavailable, website won't be accessible. |

I did nothing in this... the heroes are other than me... I just preserved the .com name that are not in use... Cudos to them that really did effort here. If they ever need a server and the .com domain I will pay for that ofcourse as I said earlier on.

The pokefinder.org and c64.org sub-domains are ServerAlias'ed. codebase64.net is the main domain (also on the SSL cert).
codebase64.org is still listed on the config in case it ever returns.
As noted before codebase64 is a special case and shall be accessible using any URL without rewriting to allow e.g. Http-Load2 access *duckruns*
Gordian: FUCK SEO :) Whenever someone somewhere adds "c64" to a search he usually ends up on csdb, codebase, lemon - no matter the quadroupled content - better add many more domains to feed cool code to all these AI crawl shitbots :)
Whoever is editing sites/wikis could pls update .org -> .net links whereever used. Thx. |

At Revision I met new blood and they are really great at what they do... coded splendid demos in browser and so on... And my guess is that codebase64 is very important to new ones... So I really hope the site stay online and works... It was so special to meet a 17 year old new friend that want to code the c64 and his friend was only 15 years old and they just go on and learn c64 coding... it is so cool... |
