What's you favorite?
A number of times I've been surprised when listening to tunes that for some or the other reason have been suggested for listening by other users of this forum. I thought that some of you would like to share some of your favourites with the rest of us. It could probably broughten our horizons and at least let people hear some tunes that haven't gotten the attention they disserve. Anyone up for it? |

Those "RASTERBLAST" tunes are very good, too !!
Still unrivaled, at least in my opinion.
Does anyone know the composer ?

Rough: what do you mean by sounding like Mitch'n'Dane. If you're referring to my music in Star Flake I definately don't know what you mean. Besides I would rather say that Mitch'n'Dane seems style wise inspired by me. And then again I might sound inspired by Jeroen Tel. I guess we have lots of different inspirations. |

I kinda like the music for the game Peppi's Quest made by a local guy called Jesper Blomster back in 1987 (that's when the music is made) in Rob Hubbard's player. |

Zyron: I would call the tempo-switch-thing for shuffle. Personally I think the shuffle-thing has been overused just like hardrestart now and then has been overused making the music stiff and inorganic. |

Rough: I might have sounded a bit harsh - that was not my intention. I believe I reacted on something that I have always felt irritating (which is definately not your fault) - namely being judged in relation some guru ... The tune sounds Hubbardish, Tellish, even Draxish... It is as if the personality/style of the music and the feelings put into the music is reduced to some sort of replication of something done in the past... I really hate that... I know that I have done those comparisons myself and I somehow regret it... Rough please don't take my emotional outburst personally it isn't directed towards you at all.... Back to topic... Now to something completely different... Fred Gray's Hysteria rocks!!! |

Hm, didnt sound too harsh to me. It's okay.
Recently I listened a lot to GLoria/Mitch&Dane and also had a short peek on other M&D and newer Tel&your tunes while browsing HVSC which has all this ... hm, how to explain... 'browsing up, mystical/make a feeling of something fantastic (not necessarirly being fantastic)'.
I'm not common with PC demos but I think this style first popped up in such.
And about that "being judged as guru". Just relax and remember your Noise tunes in Future Composer! hehehe (I actually like some of them) |

Hehe, I didn't mean judged as a guru... but judged in relation to some guru... And yeah... my Future composer and soundmonitor tunes sucked big time :D |
