"ignore" certain groups?

Is it possible to not only chose to display "demos only" but also introduce some selection of groups to be ignored?
I feel a general tendency to do so among several sceners.
However discussable this point of view is, it would for the moment maybe help to avoid some bashing and CSDb users could "generate" an exclusive understanding of "their" scene.
I think some ignore-groups-list would suffice - however I assume this is way more complex on the server-side than ignore single user-posts?

Maybe people have an opinion on this feature?

You cannot really block "unwanted" releases without being quite offensive and/or discriminating. Rules would need rational reasons which are not so easy to come by without becoming ridiculously complicated (if it's possible at all). That's why it's better to leave up to each individual to filter. And btw. IMO we've had enough rule-bashing by now (remember Baracuda)

Okay. I'll stop my questions and suggestions about this topic right here and I'll leave this topic to the rest of the people :)

The definition of retarded release is a matter of personal opinion. There have been plenty of releases from lamer label groups such as Bad Taste and Looney Tunes Importers. Such releases were done alot in the 90s when one group wanted to rag on another group through their lame label. Nowadays there is no purpose for lamer groups since there no longer are group wars. Some people like to play games that others would consider lame. A yellow and red card system would add too much burden to the maintainers of the CSDb.

Retarded group != Lamer group/label.

Quote: Please can you explain what a retarded release is? Is it a release that targets another person or a flood load of bad quality releases?

It's pretty easy to sort out what's retarded and what is not.

Releases from onslaught,hokuto force,nostalgia,remember,the remembers,trazan,scout,groepaz,twoflower,taper,hitmen is TEH shit.
These guys were around back in the early days of the scene and should be the ones who makes the rules.
Everyone else = RETARDED and should be banned.
