looking for prodz with transparency like effects

did that cheese and flag part from world demise ever evolve? i can hardly think of any prodz exploiting this kind of priority trickery. the deus ex machina interference part comes to my mind, too as a more advanced example. but then ...?

The greetings part in The Doors of Perception. It's not priority trickery, though. The "transparent" text effect is precalculated every time the text changes. And the turn disk part in The Shores of Reflection. I'm, not sure how Bjørn did that one.

Fairly subtle example, but the dropshadow on the knot stretcher in Reutastic 100% has a two bit alpha channel.
