Linux and Vice problem
Hello,
I've got Kubuntu Linux and Vice 1.19 installed. Everything would be alright if didn't have terrible problem with disk drive emulation. I'm using KDE GUI.
1. I'm not able to choose ANY drive type - "None" is marked and any model from list of C64 drives can't be chosen (all of them are listed in grey).
2. It's possible to mark/unmark "True drive emulation". When "True drive..." is turned off, program form disk CAN be loaded. Of course it's impossible to run trackmos or any stuff using loaders. If I enable "True drive", drive doesn't work and I get "?DEVICE NOT PRESENT" error.
What to do? :/
Thanks in advance.

You have to attach a DiskImage, with gui or with
x64 testdisk.d64

Probably you miss the drives roms, or they aren't installed in the correct dir. |

Yes, you are right - drive's ROMs (/usr/lib/vice/DRIVERS) weren't there.
Thank you. :] |
