Looking for a player routine from 1991

Hi,

Im wondering if Heathcliff/DigitalArts's player-routine (sourcecode) is somewhere to be found, instead of me disassemble the whole thing. It was used by Verdict in 1991.
Im wondering if Audio Assembler is the same thing or if i am confusing it with something else.

Yes, me thinks it's the same. Dunno about possible different versions, though.
