Uncracked Games On & Magic Disk Magazines
Is there anyone able to remove the copy protection from this Game On & Magic Disk issues which has never been broken yet? It only seems to work on WinVICE 2.4 but not on original C64 with 1541U II. Could anyone take a look in this disk images, please?

Already used for this images but it's not compatible with the 1541U II, so the only way to get it work would be to completely remove the protection. |

you need to run it on a real drive, indeed - it doesnt seem to work in any currently existing emulators for some reason. |

We still need good dumps with kryoflux of these disks which HAVE NOT BEEN ALTERED.
Damn Germans and your directory editors. :) |

I still have all the original disks from Game On-Magazines and some of the Magic Disk issues but unfortunalety I'm not able to dumb them as I don't have a KryoFlux. One of my friends own this hardware but mainly for Amiga software. So I don't know wether it's possible to use one of the real 1541 II drives together with it for dumping the disks. |

You cannot use a commodore drive at all. Let someone borrow the disk to Kryoflux them. I suggest ZeroX (ZrX). |

So that means that I should send the disks ti him via letter post? Is it only possible to crack the disks and removing the protection with the original disks or would be a copy without a working protection enough? |

For what Fungus requested, the original disks are needed. The ideal thing is to be able to store the flux data from the unmodified original for archival purposes. Depending on where you live, you might find someone living closer to you than ZrX too with a KryoFlux and a "flipmodded" drive.
If you sent to someone with a KryoFlux, you'd get an exact copy of the original disk which in turn will be able to be converted to working g64-files that do not need patching to run (provided the emulator supports whatever trickery the disks use). |

they use timex and should work fine when proper g64s are made :) |
